Who we are
HUGONGO ("HUGONGO", "we", "us") is an activity-travel discovery and booking-routing service, a division of Custany, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. You can reach us at hello@hugongo.com.
The short version. We collect only what we need to route a booking request to a travel operator — the trip details and contact info you give us. We don't sell your data and we don't run advertising trackers. Connecting HUGONGO to your AI assistant does not give us access to your device, your accounts, or your chat history, and we will never ask for your passwords or payment details in a chat.
What we collect
- Booking request details you provide — when you, or an AI assistant acting for you, send a booking request, we collect the traveler name, email address, travel dates, party size, and any notes you include.
- Basic technical data — like most websites and APIs, our servers log request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps) to operate the service, apply rate limits, and prevent abuse.
HUGONGO has no traveler accounts and no login, and we don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies for visitors.
How we use it
- To route your booking request to the relevant travel operator and confirm receipt with you.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To respond when you contact us.
Who we share it with
- The operator you ask to book — to fulfill a request, we pass your booking details to that specific operator so they can respond. This is the core purpose of the service.
- Service providers — we use trusted vendors to run HUGONGO, including email delivery (Resend) and hosting (Heroku), who process data only to provide those services to us.
- Legal — we may disclose information if required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
The AI connector (MCP)
HUGONGO offers an open Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector so AI assistants can search activities and send booking requests on your behalf. The connector only receives the queries and booking details your assistant chooses to send, and returns activity information in reply. It cannot read your assistant's chat history, your files, or any of your accounts, and it installs nothing on your device.
Retention
We keep booking-request records for as long as needed to handle the request and keep reasonable business records, then delete or anonymize them. HUGONGO is in beta and these practices may evolve.
Your choices
Email hello@hugongo.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
Security
We serve the site and API over HTTPS and take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
HUGONGO isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date above when we do.
